Michael Beckerman joins Canadian Soccer Business
Michael Beckerman has been appointed Chief Commercial Officer at Canadian Soccer Business. He brings decades of senior leadership experience from roles at Torstar, MKTG Canada, Ariad Communications, and BMO Financial Group. Beckerman also held multiple international marketing roles at Nike, including Director positions across North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. He takes on this newly created role as Canadian football enters a pivotal period ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Jack Patrick Daly takes on new role at Sutton United
Jack Patrick Daly has been appointed Chief Revenue Officer at Sutton United Football Club. He steps into the role after previously serving as Director of Business Operations and Marketing and Communications Director at the club. Prior to joining Sutton United, Daly held commercial and marketing roles at Forest Green Rovers, the Northern Cricket Union, and Diageo, among others.

Jon Scammell departs Chelsea FC
After more than 14 years in various senior roles, Jon Scammell has announced his departure from Chelsea Football Club. Most recently serving as Head of Global Brand, Partner Marketing and Fan Experience, he previously led the club’s fan engagement and experience strategies across multiple global markets. Scammell began his career in sports marketing with roles at Fulham FC, the Miami Dolphins, and Jupiter Island Club, and is currently enrolled in the Chief Marketing Officer Executive Program at Kellogg Executive Education.

Conor Shaw joins BK Häcken
Conor Shaw has been appointed Content Manager at BK Häcken, marking the beginning of his career in Swedish football. He most recently worked at Manchester City, where he held content-focused roles supporting international and campaign strategy. Prior to that, Shaw led digital content and communications at Forest Green Rovers and Wycombe Wanderers.
