This week’s FBIN Weekly Careers Update highlights leadership, commercial and digital moves across clubs and organisations in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. The edition features new appointments, internal role changes and departures across revenue, marketing, operations and executive leadership.

Nicola Boscaro joins Venezia FC
Nicola Boscaro has joined Venezia FC as Chief Revenue Officer. He arrives from AC Milan, where he most recently served as Sponsorship Sales Director after earlier roles in media sales and global sponsorship sales. Earlier in his career, he held commercial and partnership roles at DAZN and Euroleague Basketball.

Michele Molia joins Venezia FC
Michele Molia has joined Venezia FC as Digital Lead. He previously spent more than five years at adidas in global digital activation and content publishing roles, following earlier experience as Brand Media Specialist at Nike.

Bheki Shongwe appointed Group CEO at Kaizer Chiefs
Kaizer Chiefs have appointed Bheki Shongwe as Group Chief Executive Officer. He has been serving as a non-executive director on the club’s Board of Directors and previously held the role of Managing Director at Kaizer Chiefs between 2009 and 2012.

Luca Lasi joins Al-Hilal
Luca Lasi has joined Al-Hilal as Head of Digital Marketing & CRM. He arrives from Everton FC, where he most recently served as Senior CRM and Performance Marketing Manager, following earlier digital consultancy roles with Seven League and Bundesliga International.

Hélène Schrub to depart FC Metz
Hélène Schrub will depart her role as General Director of FC Metz after 20 years at the club. She joined in 2006, later served as General Secretary from 2012 and became General Director in 2016. In addition to her work at FC Metz, she has been a member of the Executive Committee of the French Football Federation since 2021.
