Masi Elghawi joins DBU
Masi Elghawi has taken on the role of Fan Coordinator (SLO) at the Danish Football Association (DBU), supporting both the men’s and women’s national teams. He joins from FC Nordsjælland, where he spent nearly five years working in fan engagement and matchday experience. Elghawi described the move as a personal milestone and a chance to combine his passion for football and people in a national context. “I love working with football and people, and I love challenging myself,” Elghawi told FBIN. His brief stop at City Container was followed by what he calls his dream job in Danish football.

Tobias Trittel joins FC Bayern München
Tobias Trittel has taken on the role of Manager Sports Business Women’s Football at FC Bayern München. He joins the club after nearly 17 years at VfL Wolfsburg, where he held various positions across finance, administration, and women’s football, most recently as Sports Coordinator. During this time, he was closely involved in the development and support of the women’s team. His long-standing experience and cross-functional expertise provide a strong foundation for his new challenge in Munich.

Jake Martens joins Brentford FC
Jake Martens has joined Brentford FC as Head of Commercial Planning. He moves to the club after more than five years at Tottenham Hotspur, where he held senior roles in the partnerships department. His previous experience also includes marketing and partnership positions at Charlton Athletic, Prostate Cancer UK, and the Ricki Herbert Football Academy in New Zealand. With a background spanning both the charitable and professional football sectors, Martens brings a broad perspective to his new commercial role.

Federico Chiarello leaves AS Roma
Federico Chiarello has left AS Roma after more than three years at the club, where he most recently served as Research & Insights Lead. He initially joined in 2022 and contributed to the club’s strategic analysis and market research efforts within the business department. Prior to his time in Rome, Chiarello worked for nearly four years at Nielsen Sports and also gained experience at West Ham United. He described his time at AS Roma as a formative and emotional chapter, marking a deeper step into the football business industry.
