webook.com joins the FBIN Company Network

We are pleased to welcome webook.com as a new member of the FBIN Company Network.

webook.com is a global live experiences and sports technology platform, covering ticketing, membership management, access control, CRM and fan engagement for clubs, leagues, federations and event organisers. Built in Saudi Arabia to power some of the region’s most in-demand events, the company has grown into a platform reaching more than 17 million users across over 180 countries and processing more than 40 million ticket bookings.

In its home market, webook.com handles ticketing for events including the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix and the large majority of Saudi Pro League matches, alongside a broad portfolio of cultural, entertainment and tourism experiences. That scale has been built on high-demand ticketing, identity-linked tickets and AI-supported anti-scalping — capabilities developed for events where demand far exceeds supply and where fair access is both a commercial and a reputational question.

In June 2026, webook.com established its first operational base in Europe with the acquisition of SmartMove, a Portuguese event technology company with more than 30 years of market presence. SmartMove provides the technology behind ticketing and fan membership for Portugal’s biggest clubs, the Portuguese Football Federation, Liga Portugal and the national cup competitions. The combination brings together SmartMove’s depth in club membership, access control and matchday operations with webook.com’s strengths in event discovery, digital commerce and scalable event infrastructure.

The first European club project went live in early July 2026. SC Braga — a Primeira Liga side, regular participant in UEFA competition and home to one of the continent’s most distinctive venues, the Estádio Municipal de Braga carved into the Monte Castro hillside — now runs its ticketing and fan engagement on webook.com. The scope covers season tickets, match-by-match sales and hospitality, access control and stadium entry, CRM and fan data, and e-commerce integration, replacing a set of fragmented systems with a single infrastructure.

For European rights holders, that is the proposition: one environment across the full fan journey — from discovery and ticket purchase through membership and season tickets to access control at the turnstile and post-match engagement — rather than a set of separately integrated point solutions. webook.com is building out its European footprint from Portugal, and further club partnerships are expected over the coming months.

Johannes Lippert, VP European Expansion, webook.com: “We have built our platform in a market where major events sell out in minutes and where trust in the ticketing process is everything. That experience translates directly into European football, where clubs are under pressure to own the relationship with their fans rather than rent it. SC Braga was the right place to start — a club with genuine European ambition and the appetite to bring ticketing, fan data and commercial operations into one system. Joining the FBIN Company Network puts us in direct contact with the clubs, leagues and federations we want to work with next, and in a community where we can learn how the European game thinks about its supporters.”
