Hungarian Champion Ferencváros joins the FBIN Network

The Hungarian record champion – with 32 league titles including this year’s – Ferencváros joins the FBIN Network as the second club rom Hungary after DVTK.

Ferencváros is the most popular multisport club of Hungary with 2 million+ domestic supporters. Living its renaissance in the past decade, while its men’s football team won 4 domestic championship, 3 Hungarian Cup titles and successfully qualified to the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League Group Stage, not to mention that the Club also achieved extraordinary domestic & international results in other major team sports, such as handball, waterpolo and ice hockey. Ferencváros intends to become a well-known and well-respected sport brand int he Central European region, as its popularity grows beyond borders.

“We’d like to share and gain knowledge with fellow clubs in the region. We consider this as a potential and essential next step for further development on and off-the-pitch,” said Bálint Máté, International Project Manager at Ferencváros.

“After successfully developing on-the-pitch – with three national championships in a row and successfully making it to the Europa League and Champions League group stages in the past two years – Ferencváros aims to successfully develop also off-the-pitch. And we are proud to welcome the Hungarian champion as new member of the FBIN Network and support the club to achieve these non-sports goals as well. And at the same time we are eager to learn from Ferencváros and share their expertise with other clubs within the network. Together we grow,” said Thomas Maurer, founder of FBIN.
