FBIN Marketing Excellence Awards 2026: Submission is open

As of today, entries for the FBIN Marketing Excellence Awards 2026 are accepted. Submissions for six categories are possible.

The submission phase of the second edition of the Marketing Excellence Awards is now open and until 21 April you can hand in your entries. Six categories are available:

  • Creative Content & Coommunication
  • Best Fan Experience Case
  • Outstanding Marketing Campaign
  • Best Fan Engagement Initiative
  • Best Rebranding
  • Best Tool or Service

Please note that the first five categories – Creative Content & Communication, Best Fan Experience Case, Outstanding Marketing Campaign, Best Fan Engagement Initiative and Best Rebranding – are awarded to rights holders.

The Best Tool or Service category is open to companies active in the football industry.

This is the timetable for the Marketing Excellence Awards 2026:

  • Submission Opens: 9 March, 2026
  • Submission Deadline: 21 April, 2026
  • Shortlist Announcement: 5 May, 2026
  • Award Ceremony: 25 May 2025, as part of the Welcome Evening at the FBIN Marketing Excellence Summit in Prague

What else is important:

  • Submitted initiatives must have taken place within the last 12 months – they may have started or ended outside this period. Each initiative can only be submitted once for the same FBIN Excellence Award.
  • The three organizations on the shortlist for each award category will receive a free Premium Ticket for the FBIN Commercial Excellence Summit.
  • With the exception of the “Best Tool or Service” category, all submissions are free of charge.
  • The best format for a submission is a presentation, such as PowerPoint or PDF slides. Try to choose the right length – not too many slides with too little information, but also not too few slides with too much information. Put yourself in the jury’s shoes.
  • It is important that you clearly explain why your submission should win – concrete successes, preferably with figures. Images and videos often help – if possible, attach these as links rather than uploading them directly.
  • Be sure to give your submission a unique ‘Application Title’ – this will be engraved on the trophy and used in communications.
  • Use the ‘Message’ input field to provide a brief explanation of the project in a few sentences.

The three shortlisted nominees in each category are invited to the award ceremony on 25 May and the entire Marketing Excellence Summit 2026 on 26 May.

The jury for the FBIN Marketing Excellence Awards will be announced in due course.
