Maximilian Steinhart promoted at Karlsruher SC
Maximilian Steinhart has taken on the role of Director B2B & Events at Karlsruher SC. Having joined the club in 2021, he most recently served as Head of Sales and has been part of the commercial team for nearly five years. In his new position, Steinhart will oversee all B2B marketing, hospitality, and event operations at the BBBank Wildpark.
Leadership changes at AC Monza
AC Monza has announced the appointment of Lauren Crampsie as President and Mauro Baldissoni as Chief Executive Officer.
Crampsie brings extensive global marketing and leadership experience, having previously served as Chief Marketing Officer at Chelsea FC and President of Ogilvy New York. Since late 2023, she has been Managing Partner at Beckett Layne Ventures in New York.
Baldissoni, who previously spent over seven years as General Manager at AS Roma, joins Monza following several years as Chairman of Standard Football and in legal consultancy.
Rodrigo Yavarone joins Total Cup Experience
Rodrigo Yavarone has joined Total Cup Experience as Vice President of Revenue. He most recently worked at Club de Fútbol Cruz Azul in Mexico City as Head of Commercial & Sales, following previous marketing and commercial roles at OnePlay, Club Nacional de Football, and World Football Summit.
Leadership changes at MLS and MLS NEXT Pro
Charles Altchek has been appointed Executive Vice President, Club Performance & League Growth at Major League Soccer. He moves into the new position after serving nearly four years as President of MLS NEXT Pro, where he oversaw the league’s launch and expansion. Altchek has been with MLS since 2017, following business development roles with the New York Red Bulls and New York Mets.
Ali Curtis has been named President of MLS NEXT Pro, succeeding Altchek. He will oversee all business and sporting operations of the league while also serving as Executive Vice President of MLS Sporting Development. Curtis has been part of the MLS structure since 2021, most recently as Senior Vice President of Sporting Development. A former player and club executive, he previously held leadership roles at Toronto FC and the New York Red Bulls.
Paul Berne appointed CEO of Plymouth Argyle
Plymouth Argyle has announced the appointment of Paul Berne as Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 January 2026. Berne has served on the club’s board since 2019 and brings extensive experience across finance and operations. He joins from Trewithen Dairy, where he spent nearly four years as CEO, and previously held senior roles at Ginsters, Samworth Brothers, and Well Pharmacy.
Luis Barrachina Pérez joins Getafe CF
Luis Barrachina Pérez has taken on a new role as CRM & Fan Engagement Specialist at Getafe CF. He returns to the Madrid-based club after spending most of this year with Real Valladolid, where he led the development of the club’s first Fan Engagement Plan and digital marketing initiatives.
Thibeau De Vos joins the Pro League
Thibeau De Vos has been appointed Media & Partnership Director at the Belgian Pro League. He joins from DPG Media Belgium, where he spent more than five years leading live sports productions, including coverage of the Champions League, the Belgian national team, and the Croky Cup.
