Weekly Careers Update #39/2025

This week’s football business career updates include senior appointments and departures across Germany, Italy, Spain and Portugal. Among the moves are a board-level return to FC Bayern, a switch from AC Milan to Fanatics, a new regional leadership role at Legends Global, and a departure at Real Valladolid.

Nuno Moura appointed Managing Director Iberia at Legends Global
Nuno Moura has been appointed Managing Director Iberia at Legends Global, starting at the end of September 2025. He joins from the Portuguese Football Federation, where he spent nine years as Chief Marketing & Commercial Officer and played a key role in elevating the FPF brand internationally. Earlier in his career, Moura held senior global marketing roles at Nike and served on UEFA’s Marketing Advisory Committee.

Rouven Kasper returns to FC Bayern as Executive Board Member for Marketing & Sales
FC Bayern München has appointed Rouven Kasper to its Executive Board as Member for Marketing & Sales, effective 1 January 2026. Kasper joins from VfB Stuttgart, where he has served as Executive Board Member for Marketing & Sales since 2021. He began his career at Sportfive before moving to Bayern in 2016 to lead the club’s Asia-Pacific operations as President Asia.

Francesco Loperfido leaves AC Milan for Fanatics
Francesco Loperfido has left AC Milan after more than three and a half years, where he most recently served as Head of E-Commerce & Marketplace. He has now joined Fanatics as E-Commerce & Marketplace Director. Earlier in his career, Loperfido held roles at Benetton Group and co-founded the fashion marketplace Cornerstyle.

Luis Barrachina Pérez departs Real Valladolid
Luis Barrachina Pérez has left Real Valladolid, where he worked as Digital Marketing Specialist since the beginning of 2025. During his time at the club, he was responsible for developing its first Fan Engagement Plan and leading digital strategy initiatives. He previously held digital roles at Getafe CF and Rayo Majadahonda.
