Weekly Careers Update #37/2026

This week’s FBIN Weekly Careers Update features three appointments across executive leadership, data and community impact. The latest moves take place at Aberdeen FC, FC Internazionale Milano and Millwall FC.

Matteo Matteotti joins Inter
Matteo Matteotti has joined Inter as Senior Data Specialist. He moves from Parma Calcio 1913, where he spent more than four years. Matteotti joined Parma as Data Engineer in May 2022 before becoming Head of Data in April 2025.

Hollie Varney joins Millwall
Hollie Varney has joined Millwall as Head of Equality, Inclusion and Community Impact. She will lead equality, inclusion and community initiatives across the club and Millwall Community Trust, including organisational change and anti-discrimination work. Varney joins after six years at Kick It Out, where she most recently served as Chief Operating Officer after previously leading Brand, Marketing and Communications.

Adrian Bevington joins Aberdeen FC
Adrian Bevington has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Aberdeen FC. He joins the club following a period as a football consultant and previously spent more than three years as UK Managing Director at PROProfil. Bevington has also held senior roles at Middlesbrough FC and Nottingham Forest. Earlier in his career, he spent more than 17 years at The Football Association, including as England National Teams Managing Director and Group Director of Communications.
