Dan Barnett to become CEO at Hibernian FC
Dan Barnett will take over as Chief Executive Officer of Hibernian FC on 1 August 2025. He joins from Leicester City, where he spent six years as Commercial Director, leading the club’s global commercial strategy and serving on the board of Leicester City Women. Barnett previously held senior roles at UEFA, the America’s Cup, and U.S. Ski & Snowboard.
Haley Durmer to join Colorado Rapids
Haley Durmer has been appointed Chief Business Officer at Colorado Rapids and will start on 7 July 2025. She joins from the Seattle Mariners, where she served as Senior Director of Revenue Optimization. Durmer previously held roles at the New York Yankees, focusing on ticketing strategy, marketing automation and pricing. At the Rapids, she will oversee all non-sporting operations and report directly to club president Pádraig Smith.
Patrick Jenkinson joins Manchester United
Patrick Jenkinson has started as Commercial Director, D2C at Manchester United. He previously spent over three years at the club as Commercial Director, Venue & E-commerce. Before joining United, he held the position of Head of Business Development at Leeds United and worked in senior commercial roles at DAZN Group, Aser Ventures and Barclays Investment Bank.
Nicola Verdun di Cantogno joins F.C. Como Women
F.C. Como Women has appointed Nicola Verdun di Cantogno as its new Chief Executive Officer. A proven leader with extensive experience across the sporting, commercial, and financial aspects of football, di Cantogno joins as the club embarks on its transformation under Mercury 13. His arrival marks a key moment in Como’s ambition to elevate the standard and visibility of women’s football in Italy and beyond.
Max McLellan promoted to Director of Communications at Millwall FC
Max McLellan has been promoted to Director of Communications at Millwall FC, where he has worked since 2020. Having advanced through multiple media and communications roles at the club—including most recently as Head of Media & Communications—he now steps into a senior leadership position overseeing all aspects of Millwall’s public relations and media strategy.
Manuel Berger joins LASK
Manuel Berger has started as Project Manager Club Operations at LASK, where he is responsible for the strategic and operational implementation across matchday operations, event management, infrastructure, and sustainable club development. His focus areas include process optimisation, stadium operations, project management, CSR, and fan engagement. Prior to this role, he worked in event and sustainability management at LASK and held positions as a Digital Analyst Sustainability and project lead at EFS Consulting.
