Recap on the Football Business Summit in Prague incl. Aftermovie

The Football Business Summit powered by Opta by StatsPerform is in the books. On June 4th industry leaders from all over Europe came together in the epet arena in Prague. In about 8 hours of program a lot of different topics have been covered throughout presentations, interviews and panel discussions.

From data-driven marketing to membership models to fan experience and fan data – a broad range of business use cases have been presented in the capital of Czechia. To close the day the first ever Opta Quiz in Czechia takes place at the stadium and was a perfect way to network and have fun with other guests. Our event partner TicketCo recorded a live podcast at the event, our presenting partner Opta announced the new partnership with the LFA live on stage and hosting partner Sparta Praha gave our guests new insights in their club as well as a look at their trophies won this season. More than 130 guests from more than 15 countries attended the conference in Prague.

What our partners think about the event…

Tomas Krivda, CEO of AC Sparta Prague: “I enjoy networking and meeting a lot of people from different clubs and companies, who have the same approach. Being innovative, using data and technology to grow their own business in the sports area.”

Svatopluk Smysl, CEO of our strategic partner 2:score: “It was pleasure for us to co-organize such an inspiring international event in Prague. I believe that the key topic focused on innovation, data and growth was enriching for all attendees and I hope we all meet again soon and share know-how and trends within FBIN.”

Markus Klausmann, Head of Sales Central Europe at StatsPerform: “The FOOTBALL BUSINESS summit has been highly inspiring thanks to the organizers and all partners and presenters involved: perfectly located in AC Sparta Praha’s epet Arena combined with a smooth digital integration by 2:Score, it was a pleasure and honour to be an integral part of the event with Stats Perform as the presenting partner – opening the summit with the other main partners, discussing about our passion for Football and announcing a new partnership in a panel and closing the event with the first-ever OptaQuiz made the FBIN summit truly remarkable for us.”

Thomas Maurer, Managing Director of FBIN: “With Prague as an attractive destination, the epet Arena as a great location and the stadiums grandstand as an extraordinary setting, the conditions for a successful Football Business Summit presented by Opta by Stats Perform were perfect. Together with our partners – Sparta Prague as Hosting Partner, 2Score as Organizing Partner and Stats Perform as Presenting Partner – and great Speakers, the event more than lived up to our expectations. Thanks to everyone who was there – we’ll be back for sure!”

A lot of different club representatives could take away several new inputs and also organizations from the football business may have found new aspects in the industry. Even on the 3rd of June the Summit kicked off with a Welcome Evening presented by EintrachtTech. FBIN is looking forward to seeing you at the next events.
