Due to several requests we decided to keep the submission phase for this year’s Marketing Excellence Awards open until Friday, April 24.
Instead of closing the submission phase today, we add another three days to make sure everyone is able to hand in their submissions. You can now hand in your submissions in six categories until Friday, April 24 at midnight CET.
Five categories (Creative Content & Communication, Best Fan Experience Case, Outstanding Marketing Campaign, Best Fan Engagement Initiative and Best Rebranding) are reserved for rights holders – clubs, leagues and federations – exclusively.
The Best Tool or Service category is open to companies active in the football industry and includes an entry fee. For FBIN Company Network members and event partners, there is no entry fee.
What else is important:
- Submitted initiatives must have taken place within the last 12 months – they may have started or ended outside this period. Each initiative can only be submitted once for the same FBIN Excellence Award.
- The three organizations on the shortlist for each award category will receive a free Premium Ticket for the FBIN Marketing Excellence Summit.
- With the exception of the “Best Tool or Service” category, all submissions are free of charge.
- The best format for a submission is a presentation, such as PowerPoint or PDF slides. Try to choose the right length – not too many slides with too little information, but also not too few slides with too much information. Put yourself in the jury’s shoes.
- It is important that you clearly explain why your submission should win – concrete successes, preferably with figures. Images and videos often help – if possible, attach these as links rather than uploading them directly.
- Be sure to give your submission a unique ‘Application Title’ – this will be engraved on the trophy and used in communications.
- Use the ‘Message’ input field to provide a brief explanation of the project in a few sentences.
