Mafalda Monteiro departs Sporting CP
Mafalda Monteiro has announced her departure as Senior Digital Brand Manager at Sporting CP after nearly nine years with the club. She joined as Digital Brand Manager in October 2017 and was promoted to her most recent role in January 2021, overseeing digital brand strategy and content monetisation. Before joining Sporting, she worked as Product Manager at RTP, while details of her next move have not yet been disclosed.
Jacopo Gismondi joins Atalanta BC
Jacopo Gismondi has been appointed Director of Corporate, Sports & Institutional Communications at Atalanta BC. He will oversee the club’s corporate and sports communications as well as institutional relations. Gismondi joins from U.S. Sassuolo Calcio, where he spent three seasons as Head of Communications, following communications roles at SSC Napoli and Frosinone Calcio.
Daniell Askholm takes on new role at F.C. København
Daniell Askholm has taken on the role of Head of Club Advisory & Community Relations at F.C. København. Since joining the club as Supporter Liaison Officer in 2012, he has held several positions across club development, fan engagement and club engagement.
Koen Wissing joins Vitesse Arnhem
Koen Wissing will join Vitesse Arnhem as Account Manager on 1 September, becoming part of the club’s commercial team. He moves from TOP Oss, where he has served as Commercial Manager since June 2024. Before entering professional football, Wissing spent more than five years in sales and regional management roles at Timing.
Andy Loughnane promoted at Austin FC
Andy Loughnane has been named Chief Executive Officer of Austin FC after serving as Club President since its formation in 2019. He will oversee the club’s day-to-day business and soccer operations, while former CEO Anthony Precourt becomes Chairman. Loughnane previously served as President of Business Operations at Columbus Crew and as Vice President of Corporate Partnerships at the Detroit Pistons.
