Søren Kristensen joins Brøndby IF
Søren Kristensen has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Brøndby IF. He joins from Hotel- og Restaurantskolen after previously serving for almost seven years as CEO of FC Nordsjælland, bringing extensive leadership experience from both professional football and the wider business sector.
Beat Läuchli joins FC Basel 1893
Beat Läuchli has been appointed Chief Operating Officer at FC Basel 1893. He most recently led the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 project in Basel and brings extensive leadership experience across major events, sports marketing and business management.
Jens Klingfurt joins VfL Wolfsburg
Jens Klingfurt has been appointed Managing Director of Finance at VfL Wolfsburg. He joins the club after more than 25 years with the Volkswagen Group, where he held various senior finance leadership positions, most recently overseeing corporate financial communications, the Annual General Meeting and the company’s annual and sustainability reporting.
Massimo Calvelli joins AC Milan
Massimo Calvelli has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of AC Milan. He joins after serving as CEO of the ATP and currently continues in his roles as CEO International at RedBird Development Group and Operating Partner at RedBird Capital Partners. Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership positions at Nike, Wilson Sporting Goods and Amer Sports.
Fernando López leaves Real Zaragoza
Fernando López has left Real Zaragoza after serving as Chief Executive Officer since 2024. Previously, he spent more than seven years at Atlético de Madrid, including as Director of International Football, and also founded and led Atlético Ottawa as CEO & General Manager.
Matěj Šturala promoted at FC Baník Ostrava
Matěj Šturala has been appointed Executive Director at FC Baník Ostrava. He has been with the club since 2022 as Marketing & PR Director, having previously gained experience in event management, marketing and brand activation through roles at BB Travel Makers, Kreativ Gang and Red Bull.
