share experiences and drive future developments in football business.
The FUTURE OF FOOTBALL BUSINESS Conference will take place for the fourth time in 2021. In 2018 and 2019 it took place as an offline event in Graz (Austria), 2020 we had to switch to an online event due to the Covid19 pandemic.
More than 200 guests from over 20 nations attended the last physical event in September 2019.
One of the aims of the FUTURE OF FOOTBALL BUSINESS Conference is to be a meeting place for the European football business, where clubs, associations and leagues come together, network, discuss and take ideas with them. The exchange of know-how and the strengthening of international relations are in focus.

All sessions of the conference on September 2 are streamed live via our digital event platform on hopin.com.
Attendees with a VIRTUAL Ticket can therefore follow all sessions as livestreams and can also meet and interact with other virtual and on-site attendees on the platform. They can also ask questions to the speakers in the chat and the on-site team will forward them (if possible) to the speakers.
Additionally, all sessions are available as on-demand videos after the conference for two weeks.
All tickets include access to the digital event platform on hopin.com to use it as a networking tool.
The virtual event is open from September 1, 10 AM until September 4, 10 AM.
Wednesday, September 1
Arriving and making first contacts is the best way to start a conference.
Speakers, partners and attendees with PLUS and WEEKEND Tickets meet at the exclusive Welcome Evening.
For all other guests we have reserved space in the lobby of our partner hotel to network and watch the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
Thursday, September 2
The conference starts at 9 am and lasts until 6 pm with several breaks to meet and network.
From 8 pm we combine networking and football and watch the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers in the lobby of the partner hotel together.
Friday, September 3
On Friday it gets practical and interactive.
From 9.00 am to 10.30 am we offer workshops for a limited number of people directly in the partner hotel.
In the afternoon attendees with PLUS and WEEKEND Tickets go on a two hour guided tour through the city of Graz.
Saturday, September 4
For attendees with PLUS and WEEKEND Tickets there's a final highlight on Saturday morning.
An exclusive guided stadium tour through the Merkur Arena.
Usually this is not possible, but for the FOFBC the stadium opens its doors.

You can cancel your participation until August 18. You will be refunded the money paid for the ticket minus the service provider fees of 0.99 Euro per person and 3.9% per ticket.
From August 19, the registration fee is no longer refundable.
You can always transfer the ticket to other people. These individuals then enter into the rights and obligations of the participants reversed.
In case the physical FUTURE OF FOOTBALL BUSINESS Conference 2021 needs to be cancelled, there will still be a virtual event on September 2 and 3.
You will get a full refund of the ticket costs or you may choose to keep the tickets for one of the following events or change them to tickets for the virtual event (and you get a refund of the difference).
Depending on the details of the restrictions, the FOFBC21 will either turn into an online-only event or PLUS and WEEKEND Ticket holder are preferred.
If we need to cancel your ticket for the physical event due to capacity restrictions, you will get a full refund of the ticket costs or you may choose to keep the tickets for one of the following events or change them into tickets for the virtual event (and you get a refund of the difference).
Acces to the digital event on hopin is included in every ticket type. When you order your ticket you get an email with the instructions how to login to the event on hopin.
The digital event platform on hopin is open from September 1, 10 AM CET until September 4, 10 AM CET.
You have to have a valid ticket.
Covid: To enter the conference you have to bring an official certificate that you are either
- fully vaccinated
- tested negative (antigen) by an authorised body lass than 48 hours ago
- tested negative (PCR) by an authorised body lass than 72 hours ago
There is a test station across the street in case you need an offcial certificate.
You can park your car in the underground parking of the IntercityHotel. The entry is here.
Parkings costs 2,50 Euro per hour and 15 Euro per 24 hours.
Get a ticket when you enter the underground parking and pay in the hotel when you leave.
